Half Day Tuesday and a fun GAC get together!

Whew! Today has been a busy day! As Heidi said yesterday the students got out at 11:35 today, and then the teachers had a meeting from 12:30-2:00 about Math. We all agreed this was a very informative meeting, and we even picked up a couple new math techniques to try! We also thought the meeting was very interactive and we enjoyed being able to be a part of it. After the math meeting, teachers were given time to work on report cards that they coming up. My teachers are very stressed out about getting these report cards done, so this was a very busy but productive time for me. I also assisted them by typing up some things, and had some time lesson planning as well.

We stayed at school till about 6:00 today and then we headed to dinner to meet up with some Gustavus Alumni who now live in New York!  We met up with Becca, Jason, and Fred at the Corner Bistro which is in West Village. The food was fantastic, and we all such a  fun evening! After the Corner Bistro, we stopped by Magnolia Bakery (famous from Sex and the City tv show) they have DELICIOUS cupcakes. The verdict is still out on which has been the best. So far we've had Crumbs Cupcake, Cake Boss Cupcake or this one. We'll let you know when we decide!
After that Jason, Fred, and Becca took us to one more place so that we could spend a little more time chatting. Our next stop was the White Horse, this was also in West Village. We are so glad we got to spend some time talking about one of our favorite places, Gustavus :) and other things as well.
Funny thing, Becca is a Delta and Jason and Fred are Eppies! We thought this was a pretty cool commonality that we had.
Overall, we had a great Tuesday. Not sure what our plan for tomorrow is yet, but make sure to check back and find out!

Ta Ta for now!
